I find fascinating the high quality of pictures used in beauty and women magazines. I mean how powerful they present the product with the help of light, color and crisp close-ups. I tried to achieve that with this image.
The inspiration, particularly for this work, was the new line of skincare products from Shiseido.
Modeled in 3ds max 9, rendered with VRay 1.5 and Photoshop for the final touches.
All the furniture is completely my own design. The paintings used are works from Vermeer and Van Eyck.
Modeled in 3ds max 9, rendered with VRay 1.5 and added Background and Ambient Occlusion in Photoshop. Just put one Direct Light on the scene and helped with Hdri on the reflections for more realism.

Hotelroom

I am presenting my very first interior and 2nd work in 3d. (done between Jan-March 2007)
I was in a 3d course during 6 months and this is the interior room I made for my end project. We were told to choose an interior out of a photo and do it in 3d.
As I like a challenge so much I wanted to do as many objects as possible to practice and experiment what we've studied (vray materials, opacity maps, Reactor, more modeling than just boxes, interior lighting, displacement...) and thought that a hotelroom with different areas would be very suitable.
I tried to make my own interior design and it took me quite some time to develop a satisfying idea defining the space and the objects (some are from photos of real objects that were available on the internet and some my own design)
At first, the teacher wasn't too keen on such a big and complicated project due to the lack of experience in the short schedule but I was determined to succeed and therefore worked endless hours.
When he saw the room finished he was impressed.

I know it needs improvement but I am very proud of my first attempt. Hope you like it. You are welcome to criticize my work
